Baobabs and the Tsingys
Baobabs Alley
Home of the largest concentration of Baobabs (Adansonia grandidieri), Baobabs Alley is a place where most people come to admire the sunset and its reddish reflections on the trunks of these mythical trees also known as “the roots of heaven”. Naturally spectacular because of the Baobab trees, the marshes and rice fields make the area even more beautiful during the wet season, especially when they are invaded by blooming water hyacinths.

Tsingys of Bemaraha
Veritable limestone cathedrals, Tsingys consists of limestone deposits, shells and fossils. The site allows you to fully appreciate the shapes and depths of the crevasses . Climbing, crossing pits on a suspended bridge, you can admire the canyon of impressive dimensions and a grotto featuring different limestone formations. Vegetation is well-developed in the crevasses and canyons, and the silence of the site is broken only by the melody of birdsong and the gentle rustle of the wind. From the panoramic viewpoint, you can admire the Tsingy and the surrounding plains all the way to the horizon.
