DAY 6: AMBANJA

Description: In the morning, we will head towards Ambanja. Its name, meaning “Where there is powder,” reflects its historical significance. Located on the banks of the Sambirano River, Ambanja is best known for its vast cocoa plantations. As the commercial and cultural hub of a densely populated agricultural region with over 200,000 inhabitants, the town plays a crucial role in the export of products such as pepper, coffee, ylang-ylang, and, most notably, cocoa.

DAY 7: AMBANJA – ANKIFY – NOSY KOMBA

Distance: 40 Km
Description: Nosy Komba serves as the bridge between Nosy Be, the renowned “island of spices,” and Madagascar’s mainland. Its secluded beaches, embraced by emerald waters, along with its rich biodiversity, make Nosy Komba an increasingly sought-after natural treasure.

DAY 10-11: NOSY IRANJA

Description: The breathtaking Nosy Iranja is located southwest of Nosy Be, beyond the Baie des Russes. It consists of two islands connected by a stunning white sandbank. The second island, inhabited, is accessible at low tide and houses a former hotel that is now closed to the public. Nosy Iranja is considered one of the most beautiful islands in Madagascar.
